This species belongs to the same genus as Tiama and Sipo,and
of Entandrophragma best known in Taiwan.Yielded from Ivory
Coast,Ghana and Nigeria to Cameroun,and Uganda and Tanzania in the

一般立木基部不具板根﹐樹高45m﹐平均直徑可達1m。 <樹皮> 淡色﹐小片狀脫落。 <色調>
邊材淡色﹐心材赤褐色﹐在木材表面規則配列薄膜組織形成美麗紋理﹐特別是在徑切面。 <比重>
氣乾比重值A.D.0.61~0.72。 <木理> 交錯木理﹐木肌粗糙。 |

and 1 m in diameter. bark:Pale colored and small pieces stripped
off. wood:Sapwood pale and heartwood red brown.Regularly spaced
bands of parenchyma presenting beautiful grains on sawn
face,especially on quartersawn face. weight:A.D.0.61~0.72. grain:
Interlocked. texture:Coarse or somewhat coarse.
