| 性狀 PROPERTIES: |
樹高15~30m﹐平均直徑0.6~1m﹐一般是大徑木﹐板根突出而顯著﹐木材弦切面波狀紋顯著。 <樹皮>
厚約0.5~1.5m﹐外皮淡黃褐色開裂﹐呈小薄片狀脫落﹐內樹皮灰褐或赤褐色﹐纖維質。 <色調>
邊、心材區別明顯﹐心材赤或深赤色﹐久置則轉成深色並帶紫﹐邊材淡黃色。 <比重> 重硬木﹐氣乾比重A.D.0.65~0.85。
<木理> 交錯木理﹐木肌略粗。 |
PROPERTIES:Generally up to 15~30 m in height and 0.6~1 m in
diameter.Usually large in diamerter and with prominent
buttress.Ripple marks noticeable on flatsawn face. bark:0.5~1.5 cm
thick.Outer bark pale yellow brown with fissures and small thin
pieces stripped off.Inner bark grey brown or red brown and fibrous.
wood:Heartwood distinct.Heartwood red or dark red,becoming dark with
purple when exposed.Sapwood pale yellow. weight:Somewhat heavy/hard
A.D.0.65~0.85. grain:Interlocked. texture:Somewhat coarse or
