樹高45m﹐平均直徑可達1.2m﹐因其木材顏色與柚木近似而被稱作非洲柚木。 <樹皮>
表皮光滑﹐褐灰或灰色﹐條狀脫落。 <色調>
邊材寬幅窄﹐色澤較心材略淡﹐心材新鮮材時呈黃褐色﹐久置則轉深褐色﹐與柚木顏色近似。 <比重> 氣乾比重值A.D.0.71。
<木理> 木理通直或交錯﹐木肌略精。 |
